Food for Life Halton & Hamilton is the regional leader in rescuing and distributing GOOD fresh and frozen food.  We support the community by supplying healthy food directly to neighbours and to a network of non-profits and partners who offer food support programs. Food for Life is a thought leader and is built on a unique supply chain model driven by environmental sustainability.

Food for Life is at an exciting stage of its evolution, and we are looking for the right person to step in and efficiently put their skills and passion to use in helping us continue our GOOD work.

As Coordinator, Logistics and Food Donor Relations you will report directly to Director, Food and Operations. You will ensure that all pick-ups and deliveries are made safely, on time and with a smile and lead a small portfolio of relationships with food donors.

You bring experience in logistics and supply chain management along with intimate knowledge in the management of a refrigerated fleet of vans, G and DZ vehicles.  You have demonstrated skills or background in logistics including pallet shipments and courier (direct to consumer.  Technical skills in fleet logistics and routing software are considered strong assets.

Formal training in supply chain management is considered an asset as is training or certification on operations of a forklift and powered walkies. A valid DZ license with clean abstract is considered an asset.
