Food for Life is a dynamic organization supported by a community of individual, corporate, community, foundation and institutional funders and food and financial donors who believe in the power of rescued food to protect both people and planet. Food for Life’s Administrator will work as part of our Resource Development team to ensure that donor funds are properly recorded, maintained and stewarded.
Role Responsibilities
- Administration of the Raisers Edge, Blackbaud software including linking donations, BBMS and Canada Helps disbursements and batching, EFT batching, cheque batching.
- Creating RE queries, running reports, exporting and formatting data
- Monthly donor administration and
- Maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of the donor database including record maintenance (return mail, dupes etc.)
- Play an active role in the RD team, using the data to support decision
- Provide guidance and support to fellow staff on Raisers
- Handling the day-to-day donor correspondence, thank you letters, tax receipts, mail.
- Enter and maintain data on food donor databases as
- Financial invoicing, preparation of payables, bank deposits and monthly reconciliation alongside the finance team.
