Neighbourhood Food Programs

Food for Life works with volunteers to ensure our community has access to GOOD food. PLEASE NOTE, you must be a resident of Halton or Hamilton to attend our programs.

Here’s a list of Food for Life supported programs in your community:

Acton

Please follow these steps to register and make an appointment: 

  1. Click on the below link to create a NEW online Food for Life account. Click Here (be sure to click on the area where it says ‘Don’t have an account? Sign up’.)
  2. Come into the market to verify your account. You will not be able to book an appointment until your account is verified, please do this between 4:15-6pm on Tuesday or Thursday, or Wednesdays between 11am-1pm. To verify your account, you will be asked to fill out a simple contact form and show a piece of picture ID which shows your current address.
  3. Download the NEW Food for Life App and start booking your appointments.
